- Bldg. 100 - Replacement of two 400 ton chillers with two 450 ton chillers, new chiller/primary loop pumps with variable frequency drives, new distribution/secondary loop pumps with variable frequency drives, reconfiguration of primary/secondary by-pass, new condenser water pumps; upgrade of cooling towers, new chiller plant controls; lighting upgrade; and water conservation.

- Bldg. 100 - Six-story office building with 24-hour operations
- Parking Garages - MIA long-term public garages and employee/overflow garages

- Annual Savings: $418,500
- Incentive: $85,000
- Results: The performance contract, governed by FL Statute 489.145, encompassing the two buildings and four garages allowed for the replacement of traditionally long pay-back mechanical Energy Conservation Measures within a 10 year financed period. As a result, Miami Dade County and Miami Dade Aviation Department were able to improve their aging infrastructure without expending capital dollars.
