FPL | Demand Control Program - AC and Ventilation for Business

Jump-start Your Energy Savings

Meet fresh air requirements in your building with a demand control ventilation system. You can reduce air-conditioning costs by 10 percent or more a year by adjusting your building’s ventilation based upon actual occupancy. Your air-conditioning system will operate more efficiently, which can also lower maintenance costs and may extend the life of your system. • Not be required by current building code

Proper documentation, including design documents and sequence of operations, is required.

  • Buildings that seldom reach maximum occupancy
  • Facilities that may qualify include:
    • Stores
    • Supermarkets
    • Theaters
    • Lecture halls and other performance spaces
