FPL | Direct Expansion Program - AC and Ventilation for Business

Enjoy a Blast of Cool Savings

Air conditioning is usually the largest part of your company's energy bills. Older or inefficient cooling equipment can cause electric bills to be higher. Consider installing a new system or upgrading to a high-efficiency cooling system.

Our Business Direct-Expansion A/C program helps offset the cost of installing a more energy efficient air-conditioning system.

  • Receive an incentive on equipment costs.
  • Receive incentives on electronically commutated motors.

How Does My Business Benefit?

  • Significantly reduce ongoing cooling costs
  • Increased reliability
  • More comfort
  • Enjoy energy savings

Qualifying for The Business Direct-Expansion A/C Program

Install a qualifying new system, and your business will receive an incentive on the cost of the job. The amount of the incentive varies based on the size of the new unit, type and efficiency. Once the work is complete, and has been approved by FPL, the rebate will be paid to the customer or designated vendor. Start saving today!

Qualifying units include:

  • Air, water and evaporative-cooled air conditioners and heat pumps
  • Room unit air conditioners and heat pumps
  • Water source, groundwater source and ground source coded heat pumps
  • Package terminal air conditioners or heat pump systems
  • Units that exceed the Florida Building Code by at least 7 percent
