If you have an energy-saving innovation that will trim at least 25 kilowatts from FPL's summer peak electricity demand (April - October, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.), give us a call. You may receive an FPL incentive for it. The amount depends upon the type of project and how much energy will be saved for FPL customers in the future.

How to qualify

To qualify for a business custom incentive, you must demonstrate to FPL that a project

• will trim at least 25 KW from summer peak demand
• differs from other FPL conservation programs and
• passes the FPSC conservation test.

Each application is judged separately.

Which proposals are not eligible?

Custom incentive programs that are not eligible include

• power generation technologies
• proposals based on fuel switching or wheeling and
• technologies currently being evaluated by FPL.

What should you do if you have an idea?

If you have an idea that you believe merits consideration, contact your FPL Customer Manager to verify whether it is eligible for this program.
