Community Involvement Highlights

FPL is involved in the community in many ways including contributions, management involvement, community programs and employee volunteerism. Highlights include:

• FPL raises over $1.4 million for hurricane disaster relief efforts.
• FPL provides sponsorships: Sunfest, Edison, Festival of Lights, Baynanza, Keep Brevard Beautiful, River Beach Jazz Festival and more.
• FPL and employees raise $2.9 million for United Way.
• FPL contributes Caloosahatchee Manuscripts sculpture to downtown Ft. Myers.
• FPL continues lead sponsorship of the Race for the Cure to fight breast cancer.
• FPL employees construct Habitat for Humanity homes in Florida communities.
