Teacher Workshops at the FPL Energy Encounter

As partners in science education, FPL's Energy Encounter offers several workshops for teaching professionals each year.

   When the workshops are offered

   Description of workshops

Each workshop provides:

  • An in-depth look at energy resources
  • Hands-on demonstrations by educational specialists
  • Free classroom materials
  • Financial stipend for substitute coverage

   Workshop credit

Teachers who attend the nuclear energy workshop earn 18 in-service credits.
The one-day workshop earns six in-service credits.
