About your rates and charges
The Florida Public Service Commission has approved updated rates and charges for FPL customers, effective beginning in January 2013. Changes include revised service charges and a base rate increase as part of a settlement agreement that will help ensure low bills for FPL customers through at least 2016. In addition, the storm surcharge, capacity, environmental and conservation clauses have been adjusted along with a substantial decrease in the customer fuel charge.
