How do I change my FPL.com password?
In order to change your password on FPL.com, you must first log in using your existing username and password. Once you are logged in, access the "Change Password" link at the top of the Account Summary page.

How can I change my FPL.com User ID?
If you would like to update your User ID email address, log into FPL.com using your current User ID and password and access the Account Summary page and click the "Change User ID" link at the top of the page. If you don’t remember your User ID, please click the Forgot ID link on the FPL.com homepage to retrieve your information.

How do I register on FPL.com?
In order to register on FPL.com, you will need the following information:

  1. A valid email address
  2. FPL account number (either found on your bill or you can use the account look-up function during the online registration process)
  3. Last four digits of the Social Security, Social Insurance or Tax ID number associated with the account

User IDs must:

  • Be a valid email address

Passwords are case sensitive and must:

  • Be 8 to 25 characters in length
  • Include letters (A-Z, a-z) and numbers (0-9)
  • Not include spaces or special characters (- & / # , etc.)

Please note you will be required to enter the answer to the security question chosen during registration. If you are unable to remember the answer to your security question, you will be required to re-register your account under a different email address in order to access your account online.

What is a valid password for FPL.com?
A password protects the confidentiality of your FPL online account and helps us to verify your identity. Passwords are case sensitive and must:

  1. Be 8 to 25 characters in length
  2. Include letters (A-Z, a-z) and numbers (0-9)
  3. Not include spaces or special characters (- & / # , etc.)

What if I forget my FPL.com User ID?
If you do not remember your User ID, click on the Forgot ID link at the bottom of the Account Login box on the FPL.com home page to retrieve your information. You will be asked to enter your FPL account number and the last 4 digits of the Social Security, Social Insurance or Tax ID Number associated with your account.

Please note you will be required to enter the answer to the security question chosen during registration. If you are unable to remember the answer to your security question, you will be required to re-register your account under a different email address in order to access your account online.

If the information provided is correct, your user ID will be displayed on the screen. Please make note of it prior to clicking “Log on Now,” as it will be required for login.

What if I don't remember my FPL.com password?
If you forget your password for FPL.com, click the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the Account Login box on the FPL.com home page. Enter your User ID, the answer to the security question chosen during registration and a current email address where a confirmation can be sent. If the security information provided is correct, you will be prompted to create a new password.

Please note you will be required to enter the answer to the security question chosen during registration. If you are unable to remember the answer to your security question, you will be required to re-register your account under a different email address in order to access your account online.

What is an FPL.com User ID?
A User ID is how we identify you online and is required to log into your account via FPL.com. The requirements for a User ID are as follows:

  1. Must be a valid email address
  2. Cannot include spaces or special characters (- & / # ? , etc.)
  3. Acceptable symbols, like hyphens or periods, should not be typed consecutively

What is the difference between my User ID email address and the email address I used for FPL E-Mail Bill® or e-Newsletters?
The User ID email address is the email address which will be used to log into your FPL.com account. The FPL E-Mail Bil® or eNewsletter email address will be used to send your bill and other important correspondence. The same address can be used for both your User ID and FPL E-Mail Bill®/eNewsletter.

Can I manage multiple FPL accounts with one User ID?
Yes; after logging into any existing account using your username and password, add other account numbers to that login from the Account Summary page by clicking on "Select/Add Account" from the left hand side of the page.

Can I have separate User IDs and passwords for FPL.com if I have several FPL accounts?
Yes. In order to maintain separate User IDs and passwords, you will need to set up a different User ID email addresses for each account.

Please note: changing the User ID email address does not impact where your FPL E-Mail Bill® is sent.

What happens when I click “Remember my User ID” on FPL.com?
Upon clicking “Remember my User ID,” your User ID is stored in a cookie on your computer in order to avoid re-entry each time you log in. Your password is not stored and will need to be entered each time.

If I change my User ID on FPL.com, will it change where my FPL E-Mail Bill® is sent?
No. Changing your User ID does not change where your FPL E-Mail Bill® is sent.

What browser(s) works best for FPL.com?
FPL.com is optimized for Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, Firefox 5.0 or higher and Chrome 12.0 or higher.

Why does my session expire?
Your session will expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. This is done in order to protect your privacy in case you forget to logout. Once your session expires, you will need to log in again to access your account.

I click a link and nothing happens. Why?
If you click on a button or link and nothing happens for an unusually long period or logging in takes too long, your browser is “hanging.” This means that it is waiting for information from a server. At certain times during the day, the network connection between your computer and our server becomes busy and sometimes you have to wait a little longer for a response.

It may help to click "reload" or "refresh" or try connecting at a later time.

What are cookies? Do I have to use them?
Cookies are used to remember you when you revisit FPL.com. For more information about FPL’s use of cookies, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
