Why did my User ID change?
Our customers told us they were having trouble accessing their account because they couldn't remember their User ID. So we upgraded our website to make it easier by adding the option to use an email address as the User ID. To make changes to your information, please go to your Account Summary page and click the"Change User ID" link at the top of the page.

How can I change my User ID to a different email address?
If you would like to update your User ID email address, simply log in to FPL.com using your current User ID. Go to your Account Summary page and click the "Change User ID" link at the top of the page. Enter in your new information and the switch will be made instantly. If you don't remember your User ID, please go to the Forgot User ID page to retrieve your information.

Why did my User ID switch to an old email address?
Your User ID was switched to the email address you provided when you set up the account. If you would like to update the email address you wish to use as your User ID, simply log in to FPL.com using your current User ID. Go to the Account Summary page and click the "Change User ID" link at the top of the page. Enter in your new information and the switch will be made instantly.

If I change my User ID, will it change where my e-mail bill is sent?
No. Your User ID does not change where your e-mail bill is sent.

What is the difference between my User ID email address and the email address I use for e-mail bill or e-Newsletters?
Your User ID email address is the email address you will use to log in to your FPL.com account. Your email Bill or eNewsletter email address is the address we use to send your bill and other important communications. You may chose to use the same address if you like. To make changes to your information, please go to your Account Summary page.

I tried logging in with my email address and it doesn't work. What do I do?
If you're having trouble with your User ID, please go to the Forgot User ID page to verify your information.

Can I have separate User IDs and passwords if I have several accounts?
Yes. To maintain separate User IDs and passwords, you will have to need to set up different User ID email addresses for each account. Please note: changing the User ID email address does not impact where your email bill is sent.

Can I manage multiple accounts with one User ID?
Yes. After logging in to any account, you can add other account numbers to that login from the Account Summary page.

What will I need to register on FPL.com?
If this is your first time accessing your account on FPL.com, you will need the following information to view your account online:

  • E-mail address
  • FPL account number (either found on your bill or you can use the account look up function during the online registration process)
  • Last 4 digits of the Social Security, Social Insurance or Tax ID number associated with the account

 

What is a User ID?
Your User ID is how we identify you online on FPL.com. You will need it to log in to your account. The requirements for a User ID are:

  • Must be a valid e-mail address
  • Cannot include spaces or special characters (- & / # ? , etc.)
  • Acceptable symbols, like hyphens or periods, should not be typed consecutively

 

What is a valid password?
Your password protects the confidentiality of your FPL online account and helps us to verify your identity. Passwords are case sensitive and must:

  • Be 8 to 25 characters in length
  • Include letters (A-Z, a-z) and numbers (0-9)
  • Not include spaces or special characters (- & / # , etc)

 

What if I forget my User ID?
If you do not remember your User ID, please go to the Forgot User ID page to retrieve your information. You will be asked to enter your FPL account number and the last 4 digits of the SSN, SIN or Tax ID associated with your account.

What if I forget my password?
If you do not remember your password, please go to the Forgot Password page to retrieve your information.

What happens when I click "Remember my User ID"?
Your User ID is stored in a cookie on your computer so you won't need to re-enter it each time you log in. Your password is not stored and will need to be entered each time.
