Temporary electrical service may be available to your construction site. There are several options for temporary service. Please discuss these options with your FPL project manager.
Submit project information
Notify an FPL project manager of your upcoming project using the
Notification of New Residential Construction.
Site Plan (for all projects)
Survey (if available)
Load information (may be located on floor plan drawings)
Request an Availability of Service Letter
E-mail your FPL project manager to request an Availability of Service Letter to confirm that FPL has electrical facilities available to serve your project. This letter could provide confirmation to your lender or local municipality.
Request for fault current information
E-mail your FPL project manager to request an Available Fault Current Letter for the facilities serving your project.

Sunshine State One Call to locate underground facilities on your property. There is no charge for this service. "Call Before You Dig!"
Before power can be connected to a building, local electrical inspection requirements must be satisfied and communicated to FPL by the inspecting authority. Please check with your Local Building Department (city or county) to ensure you fulfill their requirements.
