Plants at the EMB
The Everglades Mitigation Bank is invaluable due to its numerous
listed plant species protected by federal and state law. At least
eight (8) major vegetative zones occur on the site and these, when
combined with the tree islands, provide habitat for a vast array
of common, as well as protected, plant species.
