FPL must build new power generation facilities to meet tremendous growth in demand for electricity due to higher usage by existing customers and new customers moving into Florida. Given these demands, we continue to explore the latest technologies that can provide safe, reliable power in a way that is protective of Florida's sensitive environment. We believe today's nuclear generation technologies can help us meet these needs.
