Your email address is crucial.

FPL will send the reservation notice -- and all notices under this program -- to the email address provided by the customer.

Everything You Need to Know to Get Started

If you're interested in applying for a solar rebate reservation, be ready to submit an online application to FPL during the next rebate cycle. While funds last, customers whose applications meet all program standards and requirements will receive a "reservation" for a rebate. The reservation is not a guarantee of a rebate payment; actual payment will depend upon final verification by FPL that all program standards and requirements have been met.

Customers interested in receiving a solar rebate reservation should take three steps as soon as possible:

Evaluate your options

Identify one or more licensed contractors of your choice and schedule meetings to discuss your options. Get estimates, select a final contractor and secure a final quote. Work with your contractor to complete all fields on the application checklist. Be prepared to enter every item on the checklist into the online application.

Customers should choose products and contractors carefully, given the many variables involved. The decision to select, hire and the management of the contractor that will install the eligible products is the customer's sole responsibility. FPL bears no responsibility for the quality or performance of any products or contractors chosen by the customer. There are many installers in Florida with varying levels of capability and experience. Please check to make sure the contractor you select meets all applicable licensing and building code requirements. Qualifications that you may want to consider when choosing your contractor include, years of experience, making sure they have the appropriate license and experience for this type of work, confirming they maintain insurance that covers their work, inquiring about warranties, checking Better Business Bureau reviews, and requesting customer testimonials. You may also use the following sites and/or local directories to assist you in researching installers in your area; however, it is important to note that FPL does not endorse any of these websites, endorse or recommend any individual installers that may be listed therein for any of its programs, nor does FPL bear any responsibility for the quality or performance of any products or contractors chosen or hired by the customer:
