The customer that uses 1000 kWh of electricity pays about $3.50 per day, excluding taxes and franchise fees.

Customers can take advantage of FPL’s electric rates and save. By keeping consumption below 1000 kWh, you can save 20 percent on your electric bills. That’s because every kWh below 1000 is billed at a 20 percent lower rate than a kWh above 1000.
