We are especially sensitive to the needs of our customers who have difficulty paying their electric bills due to limited incomes. We are offering the strengths of our community and the talent of our employees as one way to help communities who need us most.

The Home Energy Makeover was created to assist families by improving the energy efficiency of their homes - with the ultimate goal of lowering the electric bill:

• FPL energy experts, in partnership with the Governor’s Front Porch Initiative and Community Foundation of Sarasota County, were proud to offer this service in December of 2006 in Sarasota’s Newton Front Porch Community. 
• In April of 2007, FPL brought the Home Energy Makeover to Broward County in partnership with the Dorsey Riverbend Front Porch Council.
