Who is Max Mayfield?
Max Mayfield is FPL's 2007 storm season spokesperson.
As the Director of the National Hurricane Center from 2000-2007, Max Mayfield became a trusted voice in preparing for weather-related disasters, especially tropical storms and hurricanes.
His distinguished career in meteorology spanned 37 years and included numerous awards from several weather industry sources as well as an Emmy award and ABC's "Person of the Week" after Hurricane Katrina. |
