How it works

Install high-efficiency units with a licensed HVAC contractor, work with us to submit your project information and receive incentives.

Eligibility criteria

  • The tenants must meet income eligibility requirements at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
  • The installation must be completed by a licensed HVAC contractor, WAP or Community Action Agency.
  • The system must be at least one /SEER2 point above the applicable code requirement, currently at 14.2. SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio 2) measures an air conditioning system's energy efficiency. The higher the rating, the more efficient the system. To qualify for this FPL program, your new system must have a SEER2 rating at least one point higher than the applicable minimum efficiency standard established by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
