How to enroll and what to expect

  1. Log in or create an account on FPL.com (you’ll need your account number and the last four digits of the associated Social Security or Tax ID number).
  2. Enter your U.S. bank routing and account number, choose your withdrawal day, provide contact information, and confirm enrollment.
    • Choose how many days (between 11–20 days) after your bill date for your payment to be automatically withdrawn.
    • For example, if your bill is dated June 10 and you select 11 days, your payment will be withdrawn on or after June 21st. If you don't make a selection, your withdrawal will default to 11 days.
  3. You’ll receive a confirmation email, plus a welcome letter and a message on your next bill; any current balance must be paid separately using your existing payment method.
  4. Automatic payments will start once you receive a bill that says, “Do Not Pay”.
