  2. Download and complete the property information spreadsheet.
  3. Attach the completed property information form to finish enrollment. The property information spreadsheet must be formatted using the provided template. Save as a CSV (comma delimited) (.csv) file and attach one .csv file. Max file upload capacity is 1MB. Keep file size within limit to avoid upload issues. To avoid any delays, please use this format.

More information

  • Rental units can be Residential or Commercial.
  • The Property Manager will be responsible for the electric service between tenants. 
  • The Property Manager must maintain a good payment history with FPL.
  • To participate, you should complete the enrollment form above, download and add your properties to the property information file and upload to submit your enrollment.
  • Most customers qualify for a waived deposit. 
  • Deposits may apply based on payment history and other factors. When evaluating the deposit requirement, FPL may consider the property manager's risk assessment based on a credit scoring system and/or the property manager's existing or prior FPL payment history, along with other relevant factors.
  • If a deposit is billed, the deposit will be due within 30 days, but the deposit amount will be waived if the property is returned to a tenant account before that time.
  • FPL's billing and deposit practices are governed by the Florida Public Service Commission. To ensure fairness to all customers, some customers are required to secure their accounts with a deposit. 
  • Connection fees of $9 will now be applicable and charged for each property.
  • Rental units on the agreement are automatically opened upon a tenant’s disconnection of service, unless disconnected for non-payment.
  • It is the property manager’s responsibility to notify FPL of any program changes, such as adding or removing a property/unit or canceling an agreement.
  • Participation in the program is reviewed annually to ensure eligibility remains.
  • Once enrolled in the new program any property on their list, without a currently active account, will be automatically opened in the property manager’s name.
