FPL electric rates go down again

Investments in fuel-efficient infrastructure continue to pay off for customers. On May 1, 2015, FPL rates decreased for the second time this year. Someone with a typical, 1,000-kWh residential customer bill will see a decrease of about $3 a month.

With this reduction, FPL’s typical bill will be more than 10 percent lower than it was in 2006, nearly a decade ago, and approximately 30 percent lower than the latest national average.
