An FPL representative will call you at your primary number within the next few business days to ask additional questions. Please look out for a call coming from a 1-800 number to continue the enrollment process.
You will be asked if your central A/C and central heating qualify; then, if you would also like to enroll your electric water heater or pool pump for in-ground pools.
The appliances you choose will determine the monthly credits that you’ll receive in the Summer and Winter months.
Next, you’ll receive a call from an FPL-approved contractor to schedule your in-home visit to install the On Call device.
During your in-home visit, the contractor will need easy access to your selected appliances (i.e. A/C, heater, water heater, pool pump). Before their arrival, please ensure there is a clear, unobstructed path to the appliances so the contractor can work safely.
Once the small energy-management On Call device is installed, you’ll start receiving monthly credits on your next bill whether or not we ever switch off your appliances.
COVID-19: How is FPL helping me stay safe?
We’re closely monitoring developments related to the novel coronavirus and taking appropriate precautions. Our Care Center representative will explain our safety measures during the call at the start of your enrollment process. The contractor dispatched to your home for your appointment will further explain our safety protocol along with how to complete your On Call program enrollment.
