Service is reconnected, but power not on

It’s possible there is an issue with your circuit breakers. If so, this is something that can easily be resolved by simply resetting the circuit breakers. Here's a three-step guide to resetting your circuit breakers:

View the step-by-step video or follow the steps below:
First, find the circuit breaker panel for your location and turn each circuit breaker to the off position, one by one.
Next, reset your main circuit breaker or “main line switch” by turning the breaker/switch to the off position and back on, two times and leaving it in the on position. If your main circuit breaker is not inside your circuit breaker panel, it may be outside near your electric meter. If so, do not touch the actual meter; instead, open the panel beside the meter to access the main breaker.
Finally, from the circuit breaker panel turn each circuit breaker back to the on position, one by one. In many cases, power is now restored. It is important you keep these safety tips in mind when resetting your breakers:
Do not use any tools; your breakers are easily accessible by hand.
Do not touch the electric meter.
Do not stand in water when turning breakers on or off. If your power still is not on after completing this process, please report your power outage online or call 1-800-4OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243).
