Throughout your 10-year agreement, eligible charger maintenance, repairs, replacements and software updates are included as part of your monthly program charge. Damage caused by weather, misuse, negligence, unauthorized modification or incompatible accessories is not covered and may result in additional charges.

Your FPL EVolution Home charger receives automatic remote software updates throughout your agreement to help maintain performance, reliability and functionality. Software updates are included as part of your monthly program charge and typically require no action. If action is needed — for example, to reconnect your charger to Wi-Fi — you will be notified.
During a software update, your charger may be temporarily unavailable. Once the update is complete, it will automatically return to normal operation. To receive software update alerts, make sure push notifications are enabled in the FPL EVolution app.

If your charger or cable has visible physical damage, discontinue use and contact the FPL EVolution Home Customer Care team at 833-919-0939.
Note: Damage caused by weather-related damage, misuse or negligence is not covered and may result in repair or replacement charges. Aftermarket adapters are not recommended and may damage your vehicle or charging equipment, and FPL will not be liable for any damages.

Important: If you see active sparks, smoke, flames or another immediate safety hazard, do not touch the charger. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

If your vehicle is connected and it is safe to do so, unplug the charging cable. If it is safe to access your electrical panel, turn off power to the charger by switching the dedicated circuit breaker to the OFF position.
