On Call brings mutual benefits for your business and us. Here's why it's a win-win:
Earn ongoing savings
Simple, hands-off participation
The appliances you choose to enroll will determine how much money you save.
We rarely activate the program and only cycle off selected equipment for short periods of time during extremely high electricity demand or system emergencies.
A qualifying central electric A/C system is required, and if applicable, central electric heat must also be enrolled. You may also enroll your electric water heater. Events are rare and may cycle appliances temporarily and briefly, but only when absolutely necessary.
Simply complete our form and a Business Energy Expert will be in touch within two (2) business days to assist with determining your eligibility for enrollment.
Please note: one or more A/C units are required for enrollment.
An FPL-approved and licensed electrical contractor will install your property’s On Call devices. Once your property has been enrolled, we will work with you to schedule your installation appointment. Depending on the location of your equipment, the contractor may need to access individual units for installation.
1 The self-enrollment questions help determine your eligibility for On Call. If you’re a renter, you’ll need your landlord’s approval to enroll in the program. If you’re unable to schedule an appointment, On Call may not be offered in your area just yet – but we’re working on it.
2 Typically, the program is only activated during times of high energy usage or emergency situations. On Call credits are dependent on the appliances enrolled being approved by FPL or the contractor; maximum annual savings is $73.75.
This program may be modified or canceled without notice. You may cancel at any time by giving us a call. Customers that discontinue must wait one year to re-enroll. During system emergencies (e.g. extreme weather conditions and capacity shortages as determined by FPL), On Call may be activated for extended periods of time, which may exceed your enrollment agreement.
