What are the requirements to qualify for the $150 A/C rebate?

  • A new A/C system purchase, including both indoor and outdoor units
  • 16 SEER (approx. 15.2 SEER2) rated unit and above
  • Residential home installation (excluding mobile and manufactured homes)
  • Installation completed by one of our FPL-approved PICs 

How do I receive my $150 A/C rebate?

When you’re ready to upgrade to a new, energy-efficient A/C, first ensure it meets the rebate qualifications and then follow these simple steps:

  1. Find an FPL-approved PIC
  2. Select a PIC that is right for you and call to schedule the installation
  3. PIC installs your A/C
  4. $150 instant rebate appears as a credit on the invoice your PIC provides

How do I know if I qualify for the federal tax credit?
