Are you on a fixed income of any kind? If so, FPL has a special program that can make it easier to manage your monthly budget. The FPL 62Plus Program is available to all residential customers, regardless of age, who rely on fixed income payments, such as:

• Social Security
• disability, or
• government payments

With FPL 62Plus, you have one full month to pay after the bill is issued. And it doesn’t matter when you receive your benefit check! That way, if your electric bill is due but your monthly benefit check hasn’t arrived yet, you’ll always be covered.

How FPL 62Plus works

For qualified customers, FPL will extend the payment due date to 31 calendar days from the billing date. This gives you a full month to make the payment, regardless of when you receive your income. And the time the monthly bill is issued remains the same.

Qualifications for FPL 62Plus

To qualify for FPL 62Plus, your primary income must be from a fixed income source, such as:

• Social Security
• Civil Service
• retirement benefits

In addition, your electric account must be:

• in your name, and
• paid up-to-date at the time of enrollment.

To enroll in FPL 62Plus online, complete the FPL 62Plus Payment Plan form.

Using FPL 62Plus with FPL Automatic Bill Pay

You may take advantage of FPL 62Plus with the FPL Automatic Bill Pay program. The date your bank account is automatically debited will become your FPL 62Plus program due date. And don’t worry; you’ll continue to receive a copy of your invoice prior to the date that your account is debited.

FPL 62Plus provides you the flexibility of participating in these other FPL payment options:
