Required documentation
Eligible households may be able to receive up to $2,000 of financial assistance to perform electrical work at their homes through the FPL Care To Share program.
Applicants are required to submit all necessary information and documentation prior to the commencement of any work, as support is generally granted upon qualification and completion.

For your safety and to ensure the work meets all required standards, the contractor you choose must be licensed and insured to qualify for FPL Care To Share electrical repair assistance. This helps protect your home and family, and guarantees the work is performed by qualified professionals.
Fraud and service tampering are very serious offenses. The Florida Public Service Commission grants FPL the right to pursue payment from a customer for any charges related to a fraud or service-tampering activity. None of those charges can be paid for by Care To Share program funds. Customers with a history of fraud or service tampering are not permitted to receive Care To Share funding.
