We make every effort to ensure that the millions of dollars invested to expand and strengthen the electric grid are spent sensibly on measures that are cost-effective and add efficiencies to our service and programs.
FPL has a plan to strengthen our electric system over time by encouraging the use of underground lines, increasing line-clearing activities, performing continuous pole inspections and upgrading our system to withstand higher winds.
